Our Story
The Water Forum Mysuru emerged from a series of informal conversations in 2023 among architects, engineers, ecologists, educators, and concerned citizens who shared a common vision for their city's ecological future. What began as small group discussions about Mysuru's water bodies soon evolved into a dynamic platform for collaborative action, bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives to address the pressing challenges facing our city's water heritage.

The Forum functions as an interactive platform where knowledge meets action. We bring together diverse stakeholders - from lake protection groups to birdwatching communities, from academic institutions to media professionals - creating spaces for dialogue, research, and collective action.
Through our community walks, workshops, research initiatives, and advocacy efforts, we strive to bridge the gap between technical expertise and public understanding, working towards our vision of making water wisdom an integral part of Mysuru's societal consciousness and way of life.
